Liesl Curtis is a NIMA-trained Master Esthetician who has sought out what actually works. Not what's trendy or fashionable, but what genuinely moves the needle for real people with real lives and real goals. She has a particular affection for technology, especially when it makes something possible that wasn't before. She was working with EMSCULPT NEO® before Le Sommet opened — watching patients move more freely and feel more like themselves again. Watching success happen never gets old.
Starting Le Sommet was a little terrifying. And also so exciting. She believes that clients deserve providers who take the time to genuinely understand their goals and then build a plan around their actual life. Not a preset menu.
As a mother of five wonderful, chaotic kids, Liesl knows precisely what "real life" looks like. The "medical" in MedSpa should mean something. At Le Sommet it does. Every treatment we offer operates under the oversight of a licensed medical provider — ensuring that the care you receive meets a clinical standard that protects you and gives your results the best possible foundation.
Joan Shelley, NP brings years of clinical experience and a genuine passion for patient outcomes to her role as Medical Director of Le Sommet. Under her oversight, every treatment we offer is held to the clinical and safety standards that protect our clients and support the integrity of their results.
Before any treatment protocol is offered at Le Sommet, it is reviewed for safety, appropriateness, and clinical evidence. Our Medical Director provides the oversight that ensures what we offer meets the standard implied by the MedSpa designation.
Neuromodulators, advanced energy-based devices, and medical-grade procedures operate under protocols that require physician or advanced practice oversight. Our Medical Director ensures these protocols are followed precisely and safely.
Medical direction isn't a checkbox for us — it's an active, ongoing relationship between our clinical lead and the care we deliver. Your wellbeing is the first consideration in every decision we make, from treatment selection to how we respond to unexpected reactions.
When your treatment intersects with ongoing medical care — gynecologists for pelvic health, orthopedic surgeons for post-surgical rehabilitation, dermatologists for complex skin concerns — our Medical Director facilitates appropriate communication and coordination on your behalf.

Le Sommet is a small, intentional practice. Every person on this team was chosen because they care — about the work, about the outcome, and about the person sitting in front of them.
Hi! I’m Shyanne Howell. I was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah, and recently just married my high school sweetheart this past August. After graduating from Sky View High School, I attended Utah Tech University, where I earned my Associate’s degree in Health Science. During high school and college, I also became a certified CNA and Phlebotomist. My passion for helping others is what first led me into the healthcare industry. Over the past five years, I have loved building my experience in healthcare and caring for others. I began my career working as a CNA in a nursing home, and during that time, I had the opportunity to complete an internship at a MedSpa. That experience is what made me fall in love with the aesthetics industry. I loved seeing estheticians and nurse injectors help clients feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable in their own skin. Because of that experience, I decided to attend the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics (NIMA), where I earned my Esthetics License. I have a deep passion for microneedling, chemical peels, hydrafacials, dermaplaning, eyelash lifts, eyebrow laminations, and anything laser-related. My goal is to create a welcoming and personalized experience while helping clients achieve healthy skin and feel confident in themselves. I look forward to seeing you in my chair and helping you achieve the skin of your dreams!
Kristi Jeppson is a NIMA trained Licensed Master Esthetician. She has always had a passion for skincare and a deep fascination with advanced treatments and evolving modalities. She loves helping clients feel confident in their skin while creating an experience where they feel truly cared for, comfortable, and listened to. As a busy mom of five, nurturing others has always been at the heart of who she is. She understands how important it is to take time for self-care. She strives to make every appointment both relaxing and results-driven. Whether you are looking to address specific skin concerns like aging skin, hyperpigmentation, acne, etc. or simply want to feel refreshed and rejuvenated, her goal is to help you feel your very best inside and out. Her favorite treatments are microneedling and chemical peels but she loves to help people in all ways. In her free time, Kristi loves to spend time with family and friends, travel, work out, cook and participate in most outdoor activities.
Relax and heal you deserve it! My name is Jennifer Stewart I am a liscensed massage therapist. I graduated from Renaissance Massage School in Bountiful Utah, learning 19 different techniques and modalities. My style caters to what you are in need of. From light touch to deep tissue, to can't move much and target focus, to relax and unwind. I enjoy being outdoors mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding. But love to relax, read a good book and enjoy being with my family.
Lisa's nursing background brings a level of clinical precision and patient care to Le Sommet that supports the team's medical-grade standards across every treatment and every client interaction.
