Where full-body wellness
meets deep, lasting rest.

Massage at Le Sommet is therapeutic first. Our therapists listen to what you want to feel when you leave — whether that is restored, released, or simply quiet — and build the session around that goal. Swedish, deep tissue, or targeted work, with add-ons that take the experience further.

The Approach

Massage as medicine for the whole person

At Le Sommet, massage is not an afterthought to the treatment menu. It belongs alongside every other modality we offer because tension, stress, and fatigue often occur together. They accumulate together, and they need to be released together.

Your therapist begins every session with a brief conversation about where you are holding tension, what you want to feel when you leave, and whether there are areas to focus on or avoid. The session is built from that conversation — not from a preset sequence.

Whether you are recovering from a demanding stretch of work, supporting your body through a treatment series, or simply giving yourself the reset you have been postponing — there is a session style and a length that fits where you are today.

I
Therapeutic intent before technique

Every session starts with understanding what you want to achieve. The technique follows the goal — not the other way around. Relaxation, recovery, release, and rehabilitation each call for a different approach.

II
Trained to listen, not just perform

Our therapists are trained to read feedback — verbal and physical — and adjust through the session. If pressure needs to change or attention needs to shift, that happens in real time, without you having to ask twice.

III
Part of a larger wellness picture

Massage pairs naturally with nearly everything else at Le Sommet — particularly EMSCULPT NEO® functional sessions, IV therapy for recovery, and any treatment that involves significant physical work. Ask at booking if you want to combine.

IV
60 or 90 minutes — both are real sessions

A 60-minute session is not a rushed 90. It is a full, purposeful treatment sized to the time. For first visits or lighter maintenance, 60 minutes is often exactly right. For deeper work or full-body coverage with add-ons, 90 minutes gives the session room to breathe.

Session Styles

Choose your approach

Three styles, each addressing the body differently. Not sure which fits? Tell us your goals at booking and your therapist will guide the session from there.

Relaxation and Restoration
Swedish Massage

The foundation of therapeutic massage — long, flowing strokes that work with the direction of blood flow to improve circulation, ease muscle tension, and signal the nervous system to downshift. The right choice when the goal is full-body restoration, stress relief, or simply returning to a version of yourself that doesn't feel wound tight. Effective for first-time massage clients and as consistent maintenance for anyone carrying chronic low-level tension.

Recovery and Release
Deep Tissue Massage

Slower, more deliberate work targeting the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue where chronic tension and postural holding patterns live. Particularly effective for recurring tightness in the shoulders, neck, and low back — and for anyone who sits for long stretches or carries physical stress in specific areas. Deep tissue does not have to hurt to work. The goal is sustained, progressive release — not force — and your therapist will calibrate pressure to what your tissue is actually ready to accept.

Focused and Purposeful
Targeted Therapy

A session built around a specific area of concern rather than the whole body — typically one to three zones that need the most attention. Combines techniques as needed: deep tissue where the tissue is ready for it, trigger point work where tension has concentrated into specific spots, and myofascial release where the restriction is in the fascia rather than the muscle itself. The right choice when you have a persistent problem area that general massage hasn't fully reached, or when you want to use the full session time on what actually matters most to you today.

Enhancements

Add-ons that take it further

Each add-on integrates into your session rather than extending it. Request at booking or mention it to your therapist before you begin.

Hot Stone

Four smooth heated basalt stones are placed at key muscle groups and used as a massage tool. The sustained heat penetrates to a depth that hands alone take significantly longer to reach, accelerating muscle release and producing a deep-body warmth that continues after the session ends.

$15 Member $14
Cupping

Silicone cups create a gentle suction that lifts the tissue rather than compressing it — a decompressive technique that releases fascial adhesions, improves circulation, and addresses areas of tightness that respond poorly to direct pressure. Temporary redness or circular marks are normal and typically resolve within a few days.

$10 Member $9
Aromatherapy

A therapeutic essential oil blend worked into the massage oil for the full-body application. The aromatherapy experience operates on two levels simultaneously — the physical absorption of the oil through the skin and the neurological effect of the scent on mood, stress response, and perceived pain. Your therapist selects a blend suited to your session's goal.

$8 Member $7
Deep Blue

doTERRA's Deep Blue Rub applied to specific areas of concern — a soothing blend formulated for muscle and joint comfort. The cooling, anti-inflammatory properties of the blend complement deep tissue and targeted work, providing localized relief that continues working after you leave. Particularly effective for chronic low back tension, tight shoulders, and post-workout soreness.

Who Provides Your Session

Skilled hands. A listening ear. A clear goal.

Our massage therapists are licensed, trained in multiple modalities, and genuinely invested in understanding what each client needs from the session in front of them. The intake conversation is not a formality. It determines the pressure, the focus, the pacing, and which techniques get used.

If you have a preference for your therapist after your first visit, you can request them at booking. Availability varies — your therapist will let you know their schedule when you come in.

Something worth knowing

People apologize for how tense they are, like it is something to be embarrassed about. It is not. That is exactly what we are here for.

Le Sommet MedSpa  ·  Therapeutic Massage

Works beautifully on its own.
Even better as part of something larger.

Massage integrates naturally with most other treatments at Le Sommet. Combine it with IV therapy for a complete recovery and restoration visit. Pair it with an EMSCULPT NEO® functional series for physical rehabilitation. Or simply book it on its own — because sometimes the most productive thing you can give your body is an hour of complete release.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Which session style should I choose?+
If you are not sure, Swedish is the right starting point for most people. It addresses the whole body, works for all levels of muscle tension, and gives your therapist a chance to assess where you are holding the most tension before making recommendations for future sessions. If you have a specific problem area — persistent shoulder tightness, chronic low back pain, or recurring neck tension — mention it at booking and your therapist will incorporate more focused work into the session. If you are dealing with one or two very specific issues and want the full session devoted to them, Targeted Therapy is the right choice.
Does deep tissue have to hurt?+
No. The "no pain, no gain" idea does not apply to massage and actively works against good outcomes. Muscle tissue that is under pain responds by bracing and tightening rather than releasing. Effective deep tissue work uses sustained, progressive pressure that stays just within what your nervous system can tolerate without triggering a guarding response. Your therapist will check in with you throughout and adjust based on your feedback. You should feel meaningful pressure and potentially some discomfort in areas of genuine tension — but never pain that makes you want to pull away.
Should I book 60 or 90 minutes?+
For a first session or general maintenance, 60 minutes is a complete and purposeful experience. For full-body coverage with any meaningful depth of work, or if you are adding one or more enhancements, 90 minutes gives the session the time it needs to be unhurried. If you are focused on one or two specific areas rather than the whole body, 60 minutes is usually sufficient even for deep tissue work. When in doubt, book 90 — you can always use the extra time for a longer period on your primary concern area.
Can I combine massage with other treatments on the same visit?+
Yes, and it often makes a lot of sense to do so. IV therapy is a natural complement — a recovery or hydration drip before or after a deep tissue session leaves the body in a noticeably better state. Massage after an EMSCULPT NEO® functional session can help address any residual soreness. For skin treatments like microneedling or chemical peels, we recommend keeping at least a day between those and a massage to give the skin time to settle. Your booking team can help you sequence a visit that makes the most of your time with us.
What should I do after my session?+
Drink water. Massage increases circulation and mobilizes metabolic waste from the tissues — hydration supports the body's processing of both. Avoid strenuous activity for a few hours if you received deep tissue work; the muscle tissue needs a short window to integrate the work before being loaded again. Some people feel a mild soreness 24–48 hours after a deep tissue session, similar to post-workout muscle soreness. This is normal and indicates the work reached the layers it was intended to. It typically resolves within two days, and the tissues are notably looser afterward.

Plan your massage

Targeted therapy

Tell your therapist where you hold tension, your preferred pressure, and areas to focus on or avoid. Pressure can be adjusted throughout the session; deeper work is not a request to tolerate pain.

Discuss skin sensitivities and scent preferences before choosing enhancements. Enhancements integrate into your appointment rather than extending it. Ask which session length fits your goals.
